"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; And the Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, Thou art mine."
The promises of God have stood firm since the beginning of time. Through the darkness, the despair and troubles, the failures of our past-He has remained faithful and true. So why do we tremble? Why do we draw back in doubt? When we pass through the waters, why do we fear? In the secret place of your soul, do you wonder if His love can’t reach you? Do you suspect your troubles are unseen? Your sins too great? Your faith too small? Perhaps, in your insufficiencies and failures and troubles, He has seen fit to forget you. And the sins that haunt your past will define you forever.
These are the fears we face. These are the dark shadows that overwhelm us. But we are called to REMEMBER!
This stirring musical drama adapted directly from The Book of Ruth will draw audiences and cast alike back to the remembrance of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob- our Reedemer- and the One who will restore all that has been lost!
