Based on the true story of the 1914 Christmas Truce, Heavenly Peace follows William, a young British soldier as he recounts his experience on that cold Christmas Eve when the bullets ceased and a young German soldier sang of a Silent Night from across No Man's Land. Featuring an all-male cast, this moving piece is an excellent challenge for High School and College-Aged actors. 
 
This piece is written in a competition style with minimal sets and no soundtrack or lighting required. Christmas Carols sung live by the actors capture the audience and beautifully bring this historic moment to life for the audience.
